JORGE IVÁN
This curious and daring musician, composer, arranger and teacher of Tres and cuban music has enthusiastically continued his training with renowned Cuban teachers.
In addition, he has participated in international artistic projects such as the Cultural Exchange Festival between the Toluca de Lerdo Faculty of Performing Arts in Mexico City, the Entre Tierras Association (Spain) and the Havana University of the Arts (ISA).
In 2017, he participated in the Gay Pride Festival in Madrid as the first Cuban musician who would represent his country in said festival. Which also allowed him to tour throughout France and Spain.

They create their sound by merging those Cuban roots such as Son, Rumba, Timba and Mambo with the most current electronic overtones, accompanying this mix of other styles such as funk, hip hop or jazz, thus forming part of the wake of the new movement of Cuban music that has a great international projection and has among its references to bands like Cimafunk.

This training accompanies Jorge Iván from his beginnings on stage. Its composition has been changing, providing an exchange of experiences and styles that have guided it to its present moment. His music is the union between the most traditional Cuban sound with the most current of Regeae, Jazz or Funky, thus joining the stages of World Music and Alternative Music.

With a careful and powerful staging, Imulé starts from very diverse musical roots such as flamenco, Afro-Cuban songs and even hip hop, on a firm jazz base seasoned by leading musicians on the national jazz scene.
COURSES // WORKSHOPS // MASTER CLASS
Aimed at actors and artists in general. For years he has been developing musical creation classes whose main objective is to generate from the conscience and freedom the creative and emotional expression of the artists through music. His last experience with this activity outside of Cuba took place at the Performing Arts Theater School in Barcelona with a more than positive result for both actors and teachers.

Throughout his career he was awarded several times for his pedagogical and musical contributions to the field of the arts.
