Marika Pérez is a mum, tireless promoter of projects and lover of world cultures and their artistic manifestations.
She began her training in Cinema and Theater at Universitá Roma 3 (Italy), under the direction of director Giancarlo Sammartano. On her return to Madrid, she continued her training at the EFER International Actor Study, studies that she combined with various courses and seminars in schools such as Corazza Study for Actors, among others.
Her adventurous spirit leads her to experience other acting techniques and disciplines such as singing and dance in different parts of the world such as Cuba, where she holds a postgraduate degree in Performing Arts at the University of the Arts in Havana (ISA, Cuba).
Since 2008 she designs and carries out different cultural cooperation projects aimed at the development of the performing arts in Ibero-America. Projects that seh carries out thanks to several subsidies granted by Aecid and through the Associations: La Gran Maraña and Entretierras Madrid, of which she is a founding member. She has also collaborated with the Conde Duque Cultural Center for the European competition for design proposals for White Night activities in the city of Riga.
She performs management and booking as well as artistic and stage direction for concerts of different musical projects, which has led her to participate in Festivals such as Womad, Montreux Jazz (Switzerland), Polé Polé (Belgium), Tanjazz (Morocco) or Womad (Spain) among others.
Scholarship by SGAE for the study of Creativity for Screenplay at the School of Cinema and TV of San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba, she works on the scripts for a short and a long film to be shot soon.
Currently she is a Teacher and Coordinator of the Faculty of Performing Arts Music and Dance at TAI University (Madrid).
On TV, we have seen Marika in series such as “Arde Madrid” (Paco León) or “Museo Coconut” (Muchachada Nui).
Founding member of the company La Gran Maraña, in 2007 she received the CNC Author Foundation Award for Best Dramaturgy for “Vigil and Languis: The Tragedy of the Girl Who Sleeps.”
In stage creation she has premiered as Director and Playwright “Con el Coco Abierto”, premiered in F.A.C., Havana (Cuba) and in the process of touring and distribution.
Talent Award 2014 Teatros del Canal (Madrid) for “No se Puede Mirar”, Benamate company.
